Mosharraf Karim (Bengali: মোশাররফ করিম) was born on 22 August 1976[1] and he is a very talented and popular actor of Bangladesh. Mosharraf is widely known around Bangladesh due to his superb skill in acting, achieving many awards and honours. Mosharraf generally acts more frequently in Dramas and Dramaserials, than in Bengali films. His recent works this year include numerous dramas and dramaserials. Three different Dramaserials have gone to air 2009 starring Mosharraf; which include Sakin Sarisuri, Aim in Life and Housefull, and also his most recent 'Mega-serials' that have gone to air in 2010 are Family and Friends, Fifty 50 and Patigonit. His Dramas are also very notable, as well as the handful of Films he has done, including the award winning Third Person Singular Number. At the moment he is working in the film Television directed by Faruki.

Though he was born in Dhaka, Mosharraf's home district is Barisal. During an interview with The Daily Star, Mosharraf expressed his acting skill developed through his early work in school theater. In 1986, Mosharraf's love for theater took a new dimension, when he joined the theater troupe "Nattokendro" & he is still a member of this troupe.
Mosharraf Karim is one of the most talented actors of his generation. His ability to internalize a character and histrionic ease in various roles have create a niche for him on the small screen. After over a decade in theater, Mosharraf emerged on the small screen in 1999, with the single-episode TV play Atithi, directed by Ferdous Hasan and aired on Channel I.

However the early days were a challenge for Mosharraf and according to him, his turning point was 2004. In the year of 2004 he played two important roles in two different TV works, which established him as a promising actor. One of those roles included the popular tele-film Kyarom, where he performed with co-artiste Tisha. From then on Mosharraf became immensely popular and extremely busy with mainly TV plays. In 2009 he acted in his first film Third Person Singular Number, with co-artiste Tisha. Amongst his films and TV plays, he started to work on Dramaserials. With already his status as a Bangladeshi icon, he further extended this as he acted in his first Dramaserial 420, which became very popular and was aired on Channel I. After this he worked in the two most popular dramaserials, Vober Hat and Ghor Kutum, which proved how versatile he was, as he showed he could act in a comical role. Mosharraf also acted with Bengali film Daruchini Dip directed by Toukir Ahmed while Humayun Ahmed was Story, Dialogue and Scriptwriter. In Khela drama he acted for Humayun Ahmed. His recently released film is 'PROJAPOTI' directed by Raj. Mosharraf is still acting in, and filming, numerous TV plays and Films, as he is rapidly cementing his position in the Cinema of Bangladesh. At present he is acting in the film 'Tlevision' directed by Faruki.
